OBC: An Earth-Friendly Office

Patients and parents of patients often ask us about the OBC office. The first impression, the mirror-like windows on the building itself have an interesting history; you can see through them during the day, but not at night. There’s the full-size ocean mural that greets you as soon as you walk inside.

The conference room doors are made out of reconditioned cherry. The Adirondack chairs are made out of revitalized wood, too. It’s all part of a very eco-friendly, hygienic office with a soothing ocean theme.

Painting the wall mural was an idea that sort of evolved as the office build-out progressed. It was really fun to see the patients’ reactions as they watched it unfold. I even incorporated a couple of their suggestions.
