Treatment Process and Options
Overall oral health will be reviewed during your first appointment with Dr. Crutchfield and digital color photographs will be taken. This initial assessment is complementary.
When facial width, airway issues, genetic factors, growth patterns and oral habits suggest the time is right, additional digital images, medical history, plaster models and diagnostic measurements will be taken. Dr. Crutchfield will then develop a customized treatment plan including options, timeline and cost schedule, detailed in a follow-up appointment.
After the initial assessment, a treatment coordinator will discuss with you the payment plan for your specific situation. OBC is sensitive to the demands on your time as well as your wallet and we work with all of our patients to create a payment plan that fits your needs.
Although orthodontic treatment varies greatly on a case-by-case basis, the American Association of Orthodontists recommend children visit an orthodontist by age 7, and earlier if a problem is detected by a medical professional or dentist. Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age, which is why so many adults now seek treatment.
